	Continuing the guide to the Cunard Line heritage items aboard QE2:- Upper Deck:- The centre piece of the Mauretania Restaurant is an aluminium sculpture, designed by Althea Wynne, depicting the 'white horses' of the Atlantic Ocean. There is a model of the first Mauretania 1907 [scrapped 1935] which I seem to have missed in my haste, and a large brass plaque with fish motif at the entrance to the restaurant, which was originally hung on the Mauretania. The port alleyway by the Theatre has 4 watercolours showing life onboard in the 1940's. On the stbd alleyway hangs an oil painting of Cuba [1864] by Samuel Walters, and another of a paddle steamer believed to be Europa [1848]. Fish Motif from 1st Mauretania Tri-ang Minic Ships In the Crystal Bar, Norman Foster's bas-relief 'Winged Horse and Clouds' on the centre bulkhead was produced for the Queen Elizabeth. On D Stairway, Japanese armour, being a gift present to the ship in Kagoshima on her 1979 World Cruise, is displayed. Silver plaques commemorate visits of members of the Royal family. Between the Casino and Golden Lion Pub there is a display of Cunard Memorabilia from the Peter Radmore collection, which was bequeathed to the company when he died in 1992. This contains some Cunard Tri-ang Minic Ships. The Golden Lion Pub has displayed a selection of the hundreds of plaques presented to the QE2 since she came into service in 1969. G Stairway contains a range of souvenirs outlining the different eras Queen Elizabeth & Queen Elizabeth 2 belonged to. Large engraved glass panels depicting the North Atlantic Ocean and the routes sailed, are in the Casino. The Yacht Club Foyer contains a Bust & Painting of Samuel Cunard, which along with the large models of paddle steamers Britannia [1840] & Asia [1850] gives an introduction to the early history of the Cunard Line. The Boston Commemorative Cup was presented to Samuel Cunard in 1840. It went missing for several years before it turned up in a pawn shop in Halifax, NS, in the 1960's. Samuel Cunard Top Britannia 1840 Asia 1850 The Yacht Club itself is themed on the America's Cup. Photographs & models of yachts that have participated are on display. There are fully rigged models of "White Crusader" and "Stars and Stripes". 8 plaques on the fwd bulkhead show the hull forms of other winners.
